| Abstrakt: | The article examines the impact of the cultural war brought by Le Front de Libération des Nains de Jardin (FLN)on the aesthetic value of garden gnomes in France. It is revealed that these garden gnomes which are part of garden ornaments are being stolen and only to reappear in unexpected places but their appearance are drastically changed by new painting style. The group claims that their goal is to show the elite society of their protest against their whimsical and capricious actions. |
