Abstrakt: The article focuses on the concept of competence from different perspectives. It discusses the relationship between curriculum and programmes of study, the difference between actual competence and virtual competence, and the contemporary perspectives of competence, namely situated action/cognition, distributed cognition/intelligence, collective intelligence and enaction.
