Abstrakt: The article focuses on investigations conducted by the Nevada State Health Division (NSHD), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) on three cases of acute hepatitis C in Nevada in January 2008. Based on the results of initial investigation, all three persons underwent procedures at the same endoscopy clinic within 35-90 days of illness onset. It has also been suggested that the transmission resulted from the reuse of syringes at the clinic.
