| Abstrakt: |
The author reflects on questions related to European tuning or benchmarking for women's and gender studies. The author focuses her reflections based on her participation in a workshop in Bologna, Italy and as a women's studies scholar and advocate based in Great Britain. She suggests ways on how women's and gender studies can forward its negotiation with European institutionalization of the field. She concludes that tuning, both in positive and negative light, raises significant questions about power relations which characterizes the field of women's and gender studies. |
