Abstrakt: Presents information on a study which used a direct laser writing in semiconductor-doped glasses (SDG) to fabricate microlens arrays with fill factors exceeding the close-packing limit for circular microlenses. Variety of mechanisms leading to interference in direct laser writing on SDG as lens interactions; Distinguishing property of dense arrays; Typical functions of arrays of refractive microlenses.
