The article presents footnotes for the poem "The Siege of Corinth" written by George Gordon Byron that was published in the book "The Works of Lord Byron." One of the entries explains that the first to the 45th line of the poem were written as opening, some time before the entire composition was finished. Another one discusses why the phrase "The Lions' Mouths" is discussed in the poem. |
