| Abstrakt: | Information about a paper discussed at the symposium "The Textile Arts in America: Origins and Directions," sponsored by the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City is presented. The paper discussed about the life and works of three artists including Anni Albers, Dorothy Liebes, and Mary Atwater. According to the author, the three women opened the medium to consideration to debate and their independence of thought and action opened doors to developments. |
