Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on the effects of application timing of metam-sodium combinations, 1,3-dichloropropene and chloropicrin on soilborne pest and disease control and growth of squash. The study aims to investigate the effects of combined application of soil fumigants on crop safety. The results showed that the tested fumigant combinations were as effective as methyl bromide in Meloidogyne incognita, Pythium irregulare, Rhizoctonia solani and Cyperus esculentus. The results also demonstrated that chisel applied combinations were better than drip-applied combinations in root-knot nematode control.
