Learning disabilities is bigger than a cursory review.

Abstrakt: The author reflects on the findings of a review conducted by a team from King's College in London, England on the nursing research about learning disabilities in Great Britain. The review concluded that learning disability research is unsuitable for purpose in terms of its extent, quality or quantity. He claims that the review failed to notice new and emancipatory interventions that were developed through the collaboration between people with learning disabilities and nurses.
