Abstrakt: Studies the measurement of the rate at which trapped lee waves change their horizontal wavelengths. Analysis of two events in which such changes have been documented; Generation of a two-dimensional nonlinear nonhydrostatic numerical model; Production of trapped lee waves in each simulation; Measurement of changes leading to trapped lee wave stationarity.
