The article presents trade-related developments in the U.S. These includes the enactment on foreign fur trades and capital trade to terminate English influence among the tribes and foster John Jacob Astor's Northwest Co. Another is the sending of the country's garrisons to Green Bay and Prairie du Chien. Also included is the move of the country to locate the government trading posts at the two places. |
