| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the political outlook for Turkey for 2008-2009. It is forecasted by the Economist Intelligence Unit that the Justice and Development Party will remain in government for all or most of the four-year parliamentary term to ensure the continuation of most of the policies undertaken by the first prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan government specifically the European Union membership bid and economic reform. Moreover, the foreign policy is not expected to alter drastically. |
