The article presents a study on parental perceptions, attitudes and beliefs about using the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) Rating System. An understanding of parental use of the ESRB system is deemed important since according to industry reports, parents are responsible for over 80% of video game purchases. The study utilized the Integrated Model of Behavioral Prediction. |
