The article presents a study which examined the prevalence of overweight and obesity, and its relationship to urban or rural residence and education in Thailand. The study analyzed the results of the Third National Health Examination Survey, which looked at the prevalence of overweight and obesity in Thailand in 2004, and compared it to the results of the Second National Health Examination Survey conducted in 1997. It also looked at the association among overweight, obesity and socioeconomic status. |
