This article focuses on statements from Mike Sinnett, 787 systems director at Boeing, about lessons he learned from the delays in the company's manufacturing of 787 systems. He stated that schedules are too tight. He learned that developing new tools and processes while developing a new aircraft must be prevented. He also said that every aspect of the design has had to push for efficiency. |
