| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which evaluated the safety and efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) to treat relapses of Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) or microscopic polyangiitis (MPA). The results show that IVIGs led to complete remissions of relapsed vasculitides in 13 of the 22 patients on clinical study. Because of the safety and tolerance of IVIGs, these agents can be added to a therapeutic method that uses other drugs which are prescribed effectively to treat relapses of WG or MPA. |
