| Abstrakt: |
The article presents protocol outlines on colorectal cancer detection approved by the National Ethics Committee of Denmark and the Danish Protection Agency. It offers an overview of colorectal cancer (CRC), a major public health problem affecting more than 1 million people worldwide. It also discusses the previous results of studies which suggested that tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1) protein plasma may be a useful biomarker in the detection of CRC. |
