The article focuses on the history of ship rigging in the U.S. The country's golden age of sail spanned from the War of 1812 through the Civil War, and the riggers were the people who align the hull in order to move the entire boat or ship. Rigging includes some ropes which is attached to the spars and helps the ship to control their position. |
