| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information related to the focus of Hera SpA on sustainability rather than profit making. In the May 2005, the Board of directors of Hera had deliberated the constitution of the organizational unit of Corporate Social Responsibility. It is stated that the task of such unit is to guarantee that the principles of social responsibility are integrated in the planning and business management. It is highlighted that the basic motivations of this choice of the board resides in the willingness to consider the legitimate expectations of the stakeholder and the impacts that the operator itself could have at a social and environmental level. |
