The article comments on the extent of anti-Americanism in the future, which is dependent on the legitimacy of the post-9/11 order ushered in by the regime-changing invasion of Iraq and the Afghan War. It includes an analysis of the decline of the old order due to the spread of weapons of mass destruction to states hostile to liberal civilization and the rise of Islamist terrorism. |
