Abstrakt: The article focuses on the increasing importance of undergraduate psychiatric education in South Asian countries. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the countries in South Asia particularly in India have poor mental-health services because the government is ignoring the prevalence of mental health-related issues. The need of training and teaching the undergraduate students will help them to prepare and provide primary healthcare.
