A memorandum in aid of sentencing of I. Lewis Libby in support of a sentence of probation is presented. Libby is being tried for alleged obstruction of justice and perjury. The memorandum calls on the U.S. Court to consider a non-Guidelines sentence of probation for Libby. The memorandum offers information on the personal and professional history of Libby that supports a sentence of probation. The memorandum also claims that Libby has made great contributions to public interest. |
