The article examines the larger public and private programs undertaken to reduce asthma morbidity and eliminate racial/ethnic disparities in Chicago, Illinois. Disparities in asthma outcomes in Chicago have been observed between geographic areas and ethnic and socioeconomic groups. The article assesses whether any improvement in previously reported disparities can be demonstrated. |
