The article presents the case of a patient with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) who was positive for B*2709. The patient's medical history showed that she had undergone a proctocolectomy and ileal pouch-anal anastomosis in 1999. On physical examination, the only remarkable observation was tenderness over the sacroiliac (SI) joints. She was given infliximab and pain improved within 24 hours after the first infusion. |
