| Abstrakt: |
This article summarizes the results of a theoretical evaluation of a simple hybrid water heating system consisting of a standard storage water heating tank, one distributed water heater, and one hot water use fixture. The design is shown to have a high level of energy efficiency and performance (e.g., capacity, fast delivery of hot water, low waste of hot water) while remaining practical for installation in typical new homes.
