Abstrakt: The article offers tips on landscape gardening. It states that planting the front yard with a variety of flowering plants is an obvious and attractive place to start. It stresses that the walkway should make an impression and should include bright perennials and low shrubs. It adds that fences and hedges should act as barriers to eliminate noise and offer privacy. It also suggests that it would be possible to retain a feeling of privacy while creating a welcoming yard by using see-through plants like the yarrow, sea-holly and daylily.
