Abstrakt: The article offers information about the Virtual Education Academy (VEA), an online educational program developed by the partnership of two school districts in the U.S. Funded by the Improvement of Education Earmark Grant of the U.S. Department of Education, the program was designed to address the needs to homebound and excluded secondary students. The curriculum includes several subjects such as mathematics, social studies and citizenship as well as a mentoring program. The author also discussed curriculum development.
