Abstrakt:	The article offers insights on building preservation or listing in Great Britain. Listing involves someone who will choose the buildings or structures that are of historic interest. These buildings should be over a certain age before it is listed. But recently, there has been an international surge of interest to preserve post 1945 architecture since it reveals the public, historical and political arguments, which usually surround any decisions made concerning preservation.
