This article presents an editorial on the topic of the cost of maintaining an elderly population. The author writes that as the aging population grows in numbers, the financing of the pension system and ensuring the welfare and security of elderly people will become a giant financial burden. The difficulty of meeting the expectations of the older generations is compounded by the lower number of young people taking their place in the work force. |
