Abstrakt:	The article presents information on the archaeological excavation work being done at the Buddhist cave temples in Xiangtangshan, China. Masterpieces of Chinese art from the Northern Qi period include stone carving of a Bodhisattva at a cave entrance, a limestone head sculpture of a Bodhisattva, and a limestone figurine of a kneeling monster.
