Abstrakt: The article discusses the efforts of concrete producers to determine the right air content for frost-resistant concrete. According to the author, there is a little disagreement regarding how much air should be entrained. In general, most specifiers recommend 6 percent of the total volume to be air bubbles. A quality control program that executes tight control of air content aids build consumer confidence in their suppliers.
