Abstrakt: The author offers information on Textiles in the Landscape, a course she offers at the University of California at Davis. She describes her use of textiles in creating landscape designs. According to her, the use of textiles allow her to move freely and capture the sunlight and rain, which makes it a very efficient mode in natural landscape. By using textiles, artists can reflect indigenous surroundings and ethnic characters. She also mentions how she integrates the concept of deterioration in terms of recycling materials in her teaching.
