Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the long term development plans of the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG). According to the author, medical professionals have formed organizations to expand academic and programmatic activities at a local level and in the national and international arenas. Such moves are engaged in research and development of evidenced-based practices in the prosperity of obstetrical and gynecologic profession.
