| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on smoking cessation counseling and behavioral therapies. It is stated that pharmacotherapy in conjunction with counseling is the current standard of care related to smoking cessation. The brief cessation treatments are effective and at least minimal intervention should be provided to every client who uses tobacco. Every organization should make institutional changes that result in identification and intervention with all tobacco users at every encounter. |
