Abstrakt: The article offers information on the Life Skills Literacy (LSL) project, a multidisciplinary intervention model that helps poor families achieve sustainable well-being. Among the anticipated overall outcomes for the project are improved physical and mental health, higher financial status, fewer missed work and school days, and improved grades. It offers services in a home-based format utilizing an ecological model and stage of change framework to assess the needs of families, and to intervene where the need is greatest and change is most likely to occur.
