Abstrakt: The article presents information about the acquisitions made by the Manchester Museum in Manchester, England between 1970 and 1987. Since 1970, the museum has acquired non-Egyptian collections in a big way. In the prehistoric category, the museum acquired three early Cycladic dishes of white marble during the period. All the dishes date back to 2800-2000 B.C. Besides, the museum also acquired Mycenaean pottery by transfer from the Departments of Greek and Latin of the Manchester University in Manchester, England. Among Etruscan art objects, the museum acquired black-figure pottery oinochoe and pottery amphora.
