This article presents a commentary about assessing elemental and structural validity. The data was taken from teachers, non-teachers, and mathematicians. The analysis aims to build instruments focused around measuring the mathematical knowledge used in teaching. It discusses the content that teachers teach to students directly and the professional knowledge that helps support the teaching of that content. |
