| Abstrakt: | A biography of photographer Josef Sudek, who was called the "Poet of Prague," is presented. He was born on March 17, 1896 in Kolin, east of Prague in Czech Republic, and studied in the Royal Bohemian School of Crafts. Sudek's inclination toward photography was believed to come from his family. He began experimenting with a simple box camera while he was an apprentice bookbinder. In addition, his lyrical photographs are explored. |
