The article reports on the decision of Israel to launch a campaign for smoke-free law enforcement. It states that many people who are exposed to second hand smoke (SHS) are encouraged to file private lawsuits for compensation against businesses in which smoking is prevalent or those that do not post no-smoking sign as prescribed by the law. The campaign has concurrent parts such as court actions, legislative measures and media coverage. |
