The article provides the reflections of artists Madeline de Joly and Nance O'Banion on creativity and collaboration. According to de Joly, the creative moment is an innocent state of being wherein she is pulled into the creation by an irresistible impulse. O'Banion states that intuitive process takeover after the intellect. The author asserts that intellect informs and directs the intuitive part of creating art. De Joly has an exhibition, "Libraries of Confluence," at the San Francisco Craft and Folk Art Museum in San Francisco, California. |
