The article discusses how several medical care facilities promote safety in the workplace. According to registered nurse Deirdre Blais, the facility where he works has instituted a Lift Team composed of well-trained staffers who assist nurses with heavier or difficult to move patients. Linda Schakenbach shares that her facility participates in national and international safety initiatives. Nurse Hannah Boyd reveals that her facility has decided to increase hospital security via security buttons. |
