Abstrakt: The article focuses on DataNatures, a double site-specific electronic installation made by interaction designer Ben Hooker and architect Shona Kitchen, commissioned by the San Jose Public Art Program in California. According to the creators, the project was intended to reveal and celebrate the interconnectedness of seemingly disparate natural and manmade aspects of Mineta San Jose International Airport and its environs. The installations, which took the form of ticket machines, are linked up to a series of remote cameras placed around the airport.
