The article presents a full report of a "Heidelberger Gespräch" that was held from September 20–22, 1989 and focused on issues related to addiction and social medicine. Prevention, treatment and rehabilitation were addressed. Various factors such as self-help groups, the use of methadone as a substitute drug, and the role of social benefits were among the topics discussed. |
