| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a research which focuses on different work situations, such as academic, medical and public sector in which participants frequently have to make use of more than one language to cooperate with partners or clients. Multilingual communication takes place in native-nonnative interaction or in interpreter-mediated discourse. The projects and topics which will be presented during AILA 2008 in Essen are outlined. Details of other activities relating to experimental research is included. |
