Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the efficacy of human plasma von Willebrand factor/factor VII complex or Haemate® P/Humate-P® for treatment of von Willebrand Disease and hemophilia A. The product is a pasteurized von Willebrand factor (VWF)-containing factor VIII concentrate that has been used in clinical medicine for several years already. It is considered as a virus-safe essential and has almost contain the full ingredients of VWF multimers. Information regarding its capacity to prevent HIV or hepatitis C viral infection is also discussed.
