This article addresses several issues relating to observing, recording and reporting on supervised child contact. Several difficulties are encountered when arranging contact between a child and non-resident parent after a couple have separated. In many cases, the supervisor will have prior knowledge of the family, and this knowledge can influence the observation and their interpretation of actions or behavior during the contact session. |
