Abstrakt: | The article discusses the results of a study on the relationships between oxygen demand and the exercise intensity. The study found that using a continuous protocol with stepwise increasing exercise intensities may be an alternative to establish the relationship between the oxygen demand and the exercise intensity. Kinetic energy increases by the square of the speed and it may be that the extra energy needed for high-speed exercise may be related to repeated accelerations and decelerations. |
