The article focuses on the prenatal diagnosis of vasa previa using three-dimensional (3D) sonography. Vasa previa is a medical case in which the fetus vessels run in the membranes over the cervix without the support of placental tissue or umbilical cord. Details related to the two cases of vasa previa which demonstrate the value of 3D sonography in the evaluation and management of vasa previa are discussed. |
