Abstrakt: The real-time parameters of gas-liquid two-phase flow in vertical pipe are measured by dual-plane electrical resistance tomography (ERT) system. With the discrete wavelet transform the flow regime feature is extracted from the measured data, and the Support Vector Machines (SVM) is applied to the flow regime recognition. Based on the flow regime recognition results, the flowrate is measured by cross-correlation method with the flow model of each flow regime, and cross-correlation velocity and kinematic wave propagation speed are compared and analyzed. © 2007 American Institute of Physics [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
