The article focuses on the basic design considerations of automobile drivers for light-emitting diode-based liquid-crystal display backlights. The importance of backlighting as a technology affecting the quality of display images is discussed. The use of LED in LCD backlights has increased from initial use in smaller LCD panels to applications across the entire spectrum of LCD sizes. |
